Sharon stone

  Sharon Vonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as femme fatales and as women who are mysterious in both film and television. She was among the most well-known sexually explicit icons in the 1990s. The many awards she has received include the Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated for an Academy Award. In 1995, she received an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2005, she was named an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters of France (Commander in 2021).



 Stone began her modeling career in commercials on TV and advertisements in print. Stone made her debut on film in Woody Allen's Stardust Memories (1980), as well as her first role as a speaker in the horror film of Wes Craven Deadly Blessing (1981). Stone was in films like Irreconcilable Differents (1984), King Solomon's Mines (85), Cold Steel (1987) and Above the Law (1988). After making a splash in Paul Verhoeven's science-fiction action film Total Recall (1990), she gained international recognition in the role of Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct (1992). It was her first Golden Globe Award nomination.
